  • A quick note to commend Matt Salchert for overall excellent customer service.

    I live in IL and Minocqua. I first learned of Auto Select when my timing belt broke and my car became disabled at the Mobil station on US 10 in Point. I was towed to Auto Select nearby and was so impressed by Matt, who thoroughly explained the repairs needed, and as I needed to leave the car overnight, quickly called the car rental office, lined up a vehicle and drove me there. The next day, he rushed to obtain the necessary parts and to finish the repair so that I could return and get back to Minocqua promptly. I decided then and there to use Auto Select as my "go-to" service center even though not in either city of my residence.

    Since then, I have returned for basic oil changes as well as other repairs, including a complex issue even my mechanic in IL could not do. The work done by Auto Select is superb, but a great deal of my repeat business is due to Matt, who is courteous, extremely knowledgeable, honest, professional, as well as very nice. He takes the time to explain in detail everything necessary in a potential repair, to discuss available options and to always accommodate the customer- in my case honoring my appointment requests and assuring that I can get in and out quickly and back on the road, either north or southbound. He is a great asset to your team, and I wanted to express this to you.

  • Dear Auto Select, Thank you for your support of the Fox Valley's Tough Kid Challenge. Without your support, one of Northeastern Wisconsin's biggest fitness events could not have been accomplished.

    The event was a huge success with over 900 youth and over 200 adult participants. We also partnered with Inspire Sports, which paired mentors with kids with special needs who where very excited to be able to participate and become one of the Fox Valley's Tough Kids.

    Thanks to your support, the smiles of many children filled the day.
